I went to a ski resort where you can see Mt. Fuji
Early March. 5 o'clock in the morning. We set out for a day skiing trip by car.
We went to the ski resort "Fujiten Snow Resort" near Mt. Fuji.
If there is no traffic jam, you can arrive from Tokyo in about 2 hours using the expressway.
The weather was very nice that day.
When I was driving on the expressway, I saw Mt. Fuji.
Mt. Fuji always impresses me no matter how many times I see it.
Once you see "Fujikyu Highland", your destination is just around the corner.
We are supposed to be heading to the ski resort, but there is no snow in sight.
I got off the highway at Lake Kawaguchi.
At the exit of the expressway, you can see the majestic view of Mt. Fuji right in front of you.
We got off the highway. The road conditions were good and there was no snow.
On this ski trip, my kids will be attending ski school only in the morning.
Have my kids learn how to "slide slowly" and "stop firmly".
We are approaching Mt. Fuji.
Nearby is the Aokigahara Sea of Trees, also known as the "Fuji Sea of Trees".
This is often the setting for horror movies.
I didn't talk about this because I thought my kids would be scared :)
We arrived at the ski resort. It's a warm day, but the snow quality doesn't seem to be a problem.
A one-day lift ticket was 5,500 yen for adults and 4,500 yen for children.
Honestly, I thought it was expensive. However, it is close to Tokyo and you can see Mt. Fuji.
There aren't many types of courses, but the beginner's course is about 1,300 meters long and I enjoyed it.
It was a perfect course for our current level.
After a while, my kids attended a ski class.
It seemed like they had something to gain from it.
We had lunch on the second floor of Center House.
The view of Mt. Fuji from the center house was special.
We were planning to return home in the evening, but at the request of our children, we decided to enjoy night skiing.
My kids's physical strength is bottomless.
Unfortunately, I only have a few HP left.
I couldn't keep up with the kids' speed.
This is my kids' 4th time skiing.
My kids seemed to be enjoying skiing from the bottom of their hearts, as if they were feeling relaxed.
But towards the end, my kids were so tired they were silent.
I have work tomorrow. My kids also have to go to elementary school.
We finished skiing before 8pm.
We were very, very tired, so we took a bath and had dinner at a nearby hot spring.
It was a fulfilling day.
